During his time with the Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra (SWR) Roger Norrington succeeded in an ambitious project: His performances with a modern symphony orchestra were to be based on historically informed performance practices. The results were enlightening and inspiring, not least on this Dvořák album.
