Whether originally composed for flute or works transcribed for flute, all of this music works beautifully performed on the flute. Rita D'Arcangelo playse these works with elan. This is a program of works for solo flute by J.S. Bach and C.P.E. Bach, as well as works by J.S. Bach transcribed for flute by Rita D'Arcangelo. Rita D'Arcangelo graduated with distinction from the Conservatorio di Musica in Pescara. She is prizewinner in several international competitions, and gave her solo debut at Carnegie Hall in 2011. She has played flute for several orchestras, and has travelled widely as a soloist.
