This recording contains three symphonies by Iganz Joseph Pleyel, who was not only a student of Joseph Haydn, but a rather unknown composer of the late 18th century. The musicians, including Camerata pro Musica and others, want to show, that Pleyel’s works are little audio masterpieces that gain their full range of sounds if they are not altered by any other composer.
