For the ARS PRODUKTION recording, pianist Aniele Steininger has put together a program that presents works by Domenico Scarlatti, Fanny Hensel and the contemporary composer Georg Katzer (1935-2019). The latter's 2001 piece Aufgrund meiner Verehrung für Domenico Scarlatti forms something of a link between the present and the Baroque composer Scarlatti.
