With the Taste The Best series, exceptional talents from the Cologne University of Music and Dance receive special support through a professional CD production. The musicians must meet strict artistic quality criteria. Within the framework of an in-house audition, a jury made up of professors from the Hochschule decides on the awarding of the prize. The Malevich Ensemble, a piano quartet, presents itself here with two late romantic masterpieces of the genre, which are unfortunately encountered far too rarely both in concert and on record.
