Following his first three albums with works for bassoon and piano by Robert Schumann, with bassoon concertos by Mozart, Hummel and Weber, and the great French bassoon concertos, Matthias Rácz is turning his attention to chamber music. Together with the Merel Quartet, Racz has chosen to record some of the most significant contributions to the bassoon chamber music repertoire by W.A. Mozart and his contemporary, Francois Devienne.
