‘Recital’ can describe the performance of a poem or other story, which is made special. The language of music has its own magic, making a musical Recital always a phenomenon of special dramaturgy. It is thanks to Franz Liszt that the Recital – mostly a performance made by heart – was made at home in concert venues. Many ideas can contribute to the motivation for a Recital programme. This CD is a journey from baroque times until today with the whole oboe family present accompanied by violin and piano. The main point of a Recital has never been the fame of the composer of the works, but their musical quality and the passion of performance.
