For the portrait of the Oscar Walcker organ Opus 2576, which was built in 1937 for the studio of the painter and organist Hugo Körtzinger in Schnega, Martin Schmeding chose "early music" from the 15th to the 18th century (partly interpreted in settings or according to sheet music from the first half of the 20th century) on the one hand, and "contemporary" organ music from the 1920s to the 1940s on the other. This comprehensive repertoire is intended to showcase as many different aspects as possible of this unique instrument, which was completely restored between 2015 and 2016.
