Het Kamerorkest Brugge is a professional chamber orchestra with a rich history and a unique position in the Flemish musical landscape. It was founded in 1970 as Collegium Instrumentale Brugensis. Consisting of 17 strings, the orchestra is under the musical guidance of artistic leader Ning Kam, star violinist and winner of the Second Prize at the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Competition in 2001. Ning Kam does not solely set out the artistic parameters; she also leads the orchestra on the stage.
