The GENUIN Movimentos Edition offers young, up-and-coming musicians a platform on which to realise their artistic convictions. Annika Treutler uses this opportunity on her first GENUIN CD with a verve, an expressive depth and a maturity that would suit some older colleagues well – not for nothing is she the director of her own festival, despite her youth. We experience Schumann's Fantasy Pieces and the great C-major Fantasy in a dreamy yet crystal-clear light, with a clear attack and masterly phrasing.
