It is, in the broadest sense, "heavenly music" which the Cölner Barockorchester (Cologne Baroque Orchestra) has recorded on his debut CD for COVIELLO. That ‘Heavenly‘ has always been used in music as an effective contrast to the hardships of life on earth. The orchestra shows this opposition in works of e.g. Georg Muffat, Elisabeth-Claude Jaquet de la Guerre and Georg Philipp Telemann.
