Liszt was a Very Prolific Composer. Having already recorded 95 CDs of his 'complete' piano music, the indefatigable Leslie Howard, after deep burrowings in the Goethe- und Schiller-Archiv in Weimar has found more - enough in fact to fill this supplementary disc, including the Album of Princess Marie zu Sayn-Wittgenstein, the Zigeuner-Epos, the original La lugubre gondolaand other rare pieces. Needless to say all are first recordings.

'excellently played and recorded … unmissable' (Classic FM Magazine)
