This audite CD with late Mozart piano concertos documents the wonderfully inspired collaboration between two individual artistic natures. The Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra under Rafael Kubelik and the British pianist Clifford Curzon unite vitality and highly sensitive expressive richness with a high intellectual standard of excellence, thus forming a unique synthesis. The concertos appear in live recordings from the Herkulessaal of the Munich Residenz made on 16 December 1976 (K. 467) and 17 January 1970 (K. 491).
