The harp is rather associated with heavenly spheres. That it also has quite different sides becomes clear at the latest when listening to this CD. Already at the beginning of the 20th century Henriette Renié used the instrument for the musical realization of E.A. Poe's short story Das verräterische Herz. Julia Wacker presents this and two other pieces with harp based on stories by the American.
