Fabian Müller’s music is characterized by dramaturgy and a powerful sensuality; it is beautiful in a mysterious way, which is almost a risk these days. His music isn’t deconstructionist; instead, it is marked by confidence in the tonal possibilities of traditional – and for the most part traditionally played – instruments. At the same time, Müller does not want to fall behind the achievements of modernity, which created many new playing fields through dialectic leaps of faith and through the negation of established forms and structures.
