Elena Margolina's Schubert interpretations are characterized by sensitive playing, which enables the pianist to make the listener hear the musical shades that are so immensely important in these works. The pieces are poignant in the truest sense of the word and take hold of the listener. Since 2014 she has been professor of piano at the Detmold University of Music.
