As the Trio Panta Rhei, the three musicians, Julia Vaisberg (piano), Gudrun Pagel (violin) and Sonja Asselhofen (violoncello), have become “a particularly appealing musical delight” on concert programmes inside and outside Germany. Among other places, their concerts have taken them to Festivals in Lyon (France), Montepulciano (Italy), and Schwetzingen and Rheingau in Germany. Their broad artistic range can be seen again and again in programmes of music that go beyond any limitations of style and category.

The works on this recording are rarely heard in performance and do not form part of the established repertoire; yet they exhibit a perfect combination of art and entertainment. Thanks to the adept use of classical means of expression, the music remains delightful and engrossing throughout.
