Transfiguration is an album and concert experience featuring harpist Valerie Milot and cellist Stephane Tetreault performing works by contemporary composers in a spellbinding cinematic digital environment.

The unifying concept behind the album is that all elements can be transformed into a single symbiotic entity.

Colleagues and friends on similar musical paths, Valerie Milot and Stphane Tetreault first collaborated ten years ago. Valerie, a harpist with the soul of a rebel, knows how to make her art accessible.

A sought-after soloist, she performs in numerous concerts with prestigious orchestras. Starting with the 2008 Prix d'Europe, she has won countless awards. In addition to recording eight albums and getting millions of hits online, she teaches at the Montreal Conservatory of Music. Valerie plays one of only thirteen Salvi "Apollonia" harps in existence worldwide, owned by arts patron Roger Dubois and graciously lent to her by Drummondville's Canimex company.

Stephane Tetreault is the recipient of the 2019 Virginia Parker Prize from the Canada Council for the Arts and was nominated for the Ontario Arts Council's Oscar Morawetz Award. In 2018, he received the Maureen Forrester Next Generation Award.

Chosen as the first ever Soloist-in-Residence of the Orchestre Metropolitain, he performed alongside Yannick Nezet-Seguin during the 2014-2015 season
