George Ivanovich Gurdjieff was a Greek-Armenian mystic who was ac-tiave in the early 20th century. Spiritual dance was central to his work. He wrote piano works to accompany these works with the help of his spiritual disciple, composer Thomas de Hartmann. This is truly unique and immediately enjoyable music. Chiu plays these works to perfection.
